Message of Chairman of Democrat, Candidate Governor-Candidate Deputy Governor Do not Do Money Politics

INDUSTRY.co.id - Kupang - Chairman of the Democratic Party Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appealed to all pairs of candidates for governor and deputy governor in NTT to not make money politics ahead of voting on Wednesday (27/6/2018) future.

"I hope that there will be no candidate for governor and deputy governor of NTT who make money politics ahead of the next day of voting," he said in Kupang, Monday (6/25/2018).

Susilo, known as SBY, hopes that the NTT community will have a compassionate and caring leader to the people of NTT, not a leader who only relies on money to attract the attention of the people of NTT.

He said that in this NTT Pilgub himself with the determination to fully support the Harmoni package or the couple Benny K Harman-Benny Litelnoni.

"They even have no money but they love all the people of NTT," he said.

Furthermore, he also hopes that the implementation of Pilgub in NTT runs peacefully and safely and there is no conflict between their respective supporters.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) NTT Maryanti L Adoe when found in Kupang also expects the same thing. According to him if found there is a game of money politics then, will be immediately dealt with.

The people of NTT should also firmly reject the money politics in this NTT Pilgub because it violates the law.

"I also hope that the people of NTT can realize the peaceful and peaceful elections of NTT, besides the people of NTT should reject the money politics, and avoid the politicization of SARA," he added.

Furthermore he said the rules of money politics are regulated in Law Number 10 Year 2016 about Pilkada.

"The law regulates both the giver and the recipients of 'political money' can both go to jail, because of criminal punishment in the form of imprisonment," he added.
