Moestopo Rector Wins Doctorate Degree Fourth

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - University Rector Prof Dr Moestopo (Religious) Rudy Harjanto earned his fourth doctorate from Faculty of Philosophy Gadjah Mada University.

"My dissertation entitled" The Meaning of Death in the Perspective of Taoism and its Relevance for the Values ​​of Human Behavior "aims to identify and redefine the foundations of philosophy of thought on the meaning of death, which then analyzed the possibility of its relevance in the search for an alternative conceptual solution to the value of human behavior, said Rudy in Jakarta, Monday (9/7/2018).

He explains that death is part of the activity of the universe so that harmony and balance that is in line with the Taoist philosophy. This harmony and balance differ according to each other's beliefs.

There are some people or groups who do what they believe to be true, although in other views the faith is full of hatred and violence.

"These are those who commit the murder of themselves and at the same time commit the murder of another person who is neither known nor hostile to him, so examined what the meaning of human death in the perspective of Taoism and its relevance to the value of human behavior, "he explained.

The study was conducted in Jakarta, mid-2017 to early 2018. Rudy added this is his fourth doctorate after earning a doctorate in economics, communication and the arts.

According to Rudy Harjanto, the meaning of death in the perspective of Taoism is the process of going to life in another dimension.

"Life and death are a unity, inseparable Man goes through the cycle of nature back to nature The basic relationship of death is the process of reuniting the physical body of man into the realm of nature facilitating a person to be reborn in another life form in accordance with the outcome of his previous actions , "he explained.

Acts based on positive energy will have a beneficial effect, and lead to good values ​​of behavior. Conversely, the act of life that is based on negative energy, then after the death of the body that integrates with nature will drain negative energy and give a negative impact that raises the values ​​of negative behavior in humans.
