Minister of State Owned Enterprises Rini Inaugurates Electricity Connection in Tasikmalaya

INDUSTRY.co.id - Tasikmalaya - State Minister for State Owned Enterprises (SOE) Rini M. Soemarno inaugurated power connections for poor people in remote areas of Cikupa Village, Karangnunggal Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, Thursday (12/7/2018) as an effort to encourage people to be more productive by utilizing electricity network.

"This is certainly very helpful for the community to get full access to electricity and sustain the economic activities of the household," said Rini during his visit to Cikupa Village, Tasikmalaya.

The public must enjoy electricity to meet the basic needs of lighting, as well as the use of electronic devices in his home.

During this time, there are people who use electricity by plugging the flow of electricity to the homes of other residents who have entered the power grid.

"I heard that there are electrified residents but it is taken from an already electrified house. With the help of electricity connection through SOE Synergy to the community, citizens will fully enjoy electricity directly from PLN, "she explained.

Rini said, will continue to encourage all state-owned enterprises to raise awareness for improvement electrification through a synergy and mutual shoulder to shoulder.

In addition to the Tasikmalaya regency, BUMN synergy encourages the electrification of underprivileged households, also conducted in other areas in West Java such as in Cianjur, Pangandaran, Garut and Sukabumi districts.

This is a concern for SOEs for the community, especially the poor people so that they can enjoy electricity, which in turn can also improve their standard of living.

Meanwhile, the visit of Minister of SOE to Tasikmalaya to ensure the overall implementation of electricity connection program through BUMN Synergy to 40 thousand households cannot afford in West Java and Banten Province.

The first phase, the assistance from SOEs for electrical connections is targeting 40 thousand head of households in West Java and Banten. A total of eight thousand in Cianjur regency, 9,400 in Garut, three thousand in Pangandaran, seven thousand in Sukabumi, 10 thousand in Tasikmalaya, and 2,600 in Serang, Banten.

Especially in Tasikmalaya while 400 family heads are spread in Kecamatan Rajapolah, Singaparna, and Karangnunggal Subdistrict.

The recipient of the electricity connection, Cici said, was happy to get the power grid through the SOE synergy program.

"Alhamdulillah I now have my own electricit, thanks Pak President, Mrs. Minister of SOE," she said.
