Minister Jonan Reminds to Create an Easy Investment Rule

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Ignatius Jonan again reminded his staff to keep trying to make regulations that facilitate investment.
"We must not make any regulations that hamper this, I have asked again to reduce (permissions) that," said Jonan in Jakarta, Wednesday (18/07/2018)
Jonan said that simplifying licensing is a mandate from the President to increase investment and provide a multiplier effect as a means of economic growth and will create extensive employment.
EMR personnel are also encouraged to take more initiatives in order to be able to find out irrelevant regulations, and regulations can be summarized.
As known, the ESDM Ministry has revoked 186 regulations / certification / recommendation / licensing. Regulations and licensing are scattered in the sub-sectors of oil and gas, minerba, electricity, EBTKE, as well as regulations on SKK Migas and BPH Migas.
As many as 90 regulations have been simplified, with 18 regulations from oil and gas, 20 regulation of electricity, 32 on minerba, 5 EBTKE regulations, 12 implementation rules on SKK Migas and 3 regulations on BPH Migas.
Meanwhile, of the 96 certifications / recommendations or licenses revoked are 23 coming from oil and gas, 64 from minerba and 9 from EBTKE.
