INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Political observer Said Salahudin, argued that the meeting between Prabowo Subianto and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) on Tuesday night (24/7/2018) was not expected to produce a final agreement related to coalition formation.

The agenda of their meeting, according to a political observer from the Synergy of Society for Democracy (Sigma), in Jakarta on Tuesday, still seems to be discussing about the maturation of the coalition plan between the Gerindra Party, the Democratic Party and several other political parties.

"So, Prabowo (General Chairman of Gerindra Party) came to the house of SBY (Chairman of the Democratic Party) tonight I think it is still in the framework of 'ta'aruf' Say 'ta'aruf' politics between Gerindra and Democrats Not to ' sermon 'or the night of Prabowo's proposal to Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), "he said.

Because, he continued, when it comes to the proposed marriage, Prabowo certainly will not come alone. PKS and PAN will surely come along.

"I suspect, in addition to finalizing the talks on the political cooperation plan between the two parties, Prabowo also came to talk about the attitude of PKS and PAN in terms of the coalition that was built later agreed on the duo Prabowo and Agus Harimuti Yudhoyono (AHY)," said Said.

According to him, Prabowo certainly needs to explain to SBY about the attitude of other political parties that have been explored before, especially from PKS and PAN, if Prabowo forwarded with AHY as presidential candidate (candidate) and candidate Vice President (vice president) to be carried by coalition.

Including Prabowo needs to describe to SBY regarding the attitude of PKS and PAN when the option of Prabowo must be juxtaposed with figures other than AHY.

"The issue of funding or procurement of electoral logistics I think will also be the agenda of the two talks, so the outline of Prabowo-SBY meeting tonight will not seem to escape the two important issues, namely 'power sharing' and logistic of Presidential Election," Said said as quoted by Antara.

If Democrats are getting vice president position, he said, then how will the pattern of procurement logistics.

Who will endure what financing? What political compensation should be considered appropriate to the PKS, PAN and other coalition parties if the coalition wins in the presidential election, Said said.

Similarly, if Democrats agree to a coalition with Gerindra without vice versa. How many ministers are deemed worthy of being given to the Democrats if they win. How also with the system of division of tasks and responsibilities of each political party related to procurement of logistics Presidential Election.

"About the talk about it that I think will be discussed by Prabowo with SBY tonight," he added.

The issue of "power sharing" and the provision of electoral logistics should publicly understand that such is the norm commonly discussed by any political party that will build a coalition. In the incumbent camp, both issues became the agenda for discussion.

The problem is, Sad said, the issue of "power sharing" has always been tightly closed by political parties. They consider the issue taboo to be publicly disclosed, as they fear that they will be accused of transactional politics or "cattle trade" politics. Here the false political party.

"I think the issue of 'power sharing' should be viewed as a matter of course in politics as a derivation of the function of recruitment of political parties, which is a legitimate practice in a democratic country," he said.

Don't be fooled. To the public it says there is no division of seats because the coalition is built without conditions, but secretly inside the coalition is actually busy talking or even "fighting" to fight seats and positions, he stressed.
