Improve Education Quality, President University Cooperates With Taiwan Campus

President University menjalin kerjasama dengan Taiwan Education Center (TEC) yang merupakan pusat informasi pendidikan Taiwan di Indonesia dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui insititusi pendidikan di negara Taiwan.
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President University collaborates with Taiwan Education Center (TEC) which is an information center for Taiwan education in Indonesia in order to improve the quality of human resources through educational institutions in Taiwan.
Vice Chancellor for Communication and Partnership at President University, Handa Abidin, said the cooperation included cooperation in student exchanges, lecturer exchanges and further studies in Taiwan.
"Cooperation with Taiwan Education Center is not only educational cooperation, but a joint research; join publication, lecturer and researcher exchanges, student exchanges and the possibility of a joint degree. The Letter of Intent will be held on 9 August, "he said.
The presence of Taiwan Education Center has a role to facilitate all universities in Taiwan that will cooperate with universities in Indonesia. Of course this is good for President University, besides branding people will pay attention. Every time there is cooperation with Taiwan, it must run to President University.
"So they don't only know about Taiwan but also about President University. From Taiwan also who aka tone affairs with universities in Indonesia runs to President University, "he concluded.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Taiwan Education Center (TEC) Indonesia Rini Lestari said that almost every year the Taiwanese government provides scholarship assistance no less than 200 scholarships are given to Indonesian students.
And for the second time there will be a Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2018 held on August 10 at the Jababeka Convention Center, Cikarang, then on August 11 at the Pullman Central Park Jakarta Hotel, and last on August 12-13 at the Grand Mercure Medan hotel.
This collaboration was held together with the Kadin Taiwan Committee and ITBC, TEC Indonesia and the Association of Taiwan Indonesian Alumni Image North Sumatra.
"At least 37 Taiwanese universities participated in the exhibition. Some of them are National Taiwan University, Tunghai University, Tzu Chi University, Chinese Culture University and National Chen Kung University, "he said
He added that the implementation of the Taiwan Higher Education Fair in Indonesia aims to maintain the partnership cooperation that has been established between Indonesia and Taiwan in the field of education.
This exhibition is also a real implementation of the new policy of the Taiwanese government, namely 'New Southbound Policy' where this policy focuses on strengthening cooperation with countries in South and Southeast Asia in various fields including education in Indonesia, of course.
