INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Ministry of Finance notes that the takeover of the Rokan Block by PT Pertamina has contributed 748 million US dollars or around Rp10.5 trillion for Non-Tax State Revenues (PNBP) in 2018.

"Pertamina has taken the Block of Rokan, there is an income that is deposited," Director General of Budget Askolani told a news conference on the latest state budget development in Jakarta, Tuesday (08/14/2018)

According to Askolani, revenue for the country was a "fee" payment: from the beginning of the takeover process by PT Pertamina from Chevron.

"The term 'signature bonus' will be deposited by Pertamina this year in the form of PNBP," he explained.

Askolani projects the potential of state revenue from the management of the Block Block by PT Pertamina for the next 20 years to reach around US $ 57 billion or around Rp.798 trillion.

Previously, PT Pertamina would certainly manage the Rokan Block in Riau after the contract with Chevron ended in 2021.

Askolani also explained the realization of PNBP until 31 July 2018 which had reached Rp.211.1 trillion or 76.62 percent of the ceiling of Rp.275.5 trillion.

This realization experienced a growth of 22.53 percent compared to the realization of the same period in 2017.

In addition to revenues from the Rokan Block, this increase in realization was partly due to rising commodity prices, particularly the price of oil and coal throughout 2018.
