INDUSTRY.co.id - On Thursday (30/09), President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo accompanied by Minister of State Secretary Pratikno visited the residence of Sabam Sirait, member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) who passed away on Wednesday (29/09) at age 84 in Siloam Hospital Karawaci, Tangerang, to offer his condolences to the family.
During the visit, President Jokowi had a conversation with Sabam Sirait’s wife as well as some family members offered prayers for the bereaved family so they will be given strength and patience and prayed for the soul to rest in peace.
The late Sabam Sirait was born on October 13, 1936 in Simardan island, Tanjungbalai, North Sumatra province.
He was an awardee of Bintang Mahaputra Utama medal who is also known as one of founders of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P).
