First Lady Iriana Kicks Off East Java Working Visit

INDUSTRY.co.id - First Lady Ibu Iriana Joko Widodo, Ibu Wury Ma’ruf Amin, and members of Solidarity Act Organization of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet (OASE KIM), Thursday (10/26), headed to East Java province to kick off their working visit.

Starting the agenda, Ibu Iriana and OASE KIM members will be demonstrating the “hand-washing with soap” movement and participating in traditional games with students at Pakis III Elementary School, Surabaya City.

Afterwards, Ibu Iriana and the entourage are slated to take part in an Anti-drug and Digital Literacy Campaign at Cak Durasim Building. The event will be attended by junior and senior high school students.

Ibu Iriana is also scheduled to visit Surabaya Kriya Gallery to see several arts and crafts made by members of the Regional Craft Council (Dekranasda) of East Java.

Later in the afternoon, Ibu Iriana and OASE KIM members will attend a waste management education program and beach clean-up activities. The activities will be held at Suroboyo Park, involving Surabaya students. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat) (SI/RI)
