President University - GAPMMI Teken MoU Improves the Quality of Human Resources

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Indonesian Food and Beverage Entrepreneurs Association (GAPMMI) at Menara Batavia, Jakarta (28/8).
The event was attended by Founder President University SD Darmono, Chairman of the President University Foundation Prof. Budi Susilo Supandji, Secretary of the Foundation of Unversity President Syonanto, Treasurer of the Marwan Lim Foundation, Chairman of GAPMMI Adhi S. Lukman, and Deputy Secretary General of GAPMMI Indrayana, Vice Chairman of Promotion and Cooperation Lena Prawira.
On the occasion Budi said that he expects with the MoU with GAPMMI it can create new models. One of them is a short course which is a combination between GAPMMI and President University Foundation.
He said, therefore the short course should be reviewed from the curriculum, current plant needs, and community needs.
In connection with Budi's statement, Marwan revealed that 5 things are the reasons for their cooperation with GAPMMI.
They are curriculum, corporate license, internship factories, short course seminars, and the last is vocational training, explained Marwan.
When the AKRI (Akademi Akuntansi Keuangan Riau) and Binus made food technology, also ITB made our Food Technology department was asked to review the curriculum, Adhi said.
The contents of the MoU signed by President University with GAPMMI namely;
Job vacancy and / or job vacancy information
Information education, research, and community service
Promote cooperation activities
Guest lectures, seminars, or other related activities
Supply and / or procurement of goods
Provision of required soft skills for apprentices and / or interns
Provision of the necessary lab tools for food technology students
Training, mentor programs and other related activities
