INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Director of Investigation of Corruption Eradication Commission Brigadier General (Pol) Aris Budiman denied asking for security money corruption case of electronic identity card worth Rp 2 billion and also denied ever meeting a number of members of parliament related to the case.
"I never met except as in an official forum like this meeting, I did not meet because I know my position," Aris Budiman said during a Hearing Meeting of the House of Representatives' Special Committee on Tasks and Authority of KPK at Gedung Nusantara, Jakarta, Tuesday night (28/8/2017)
He confirmed the allegation that he asked for Rp2 billion to destroy his character because he always holds the principle of integrity since the beginning of a career in the Police as well as in the KPK.
Aris guarantees that he never receives Rp2 billion even he judges that the accusing party has another agenda addressed to him and the KPK institution.
"Insha Allah I never like that, especially in the place of service now, the KPK," he said.
On that occasion Aris briefly describes his career in the Police, which was once the Chief of Police Kurik, Merauke Police, Papua and was once the Kapolsek Metro Tebet, South Jakarta Police.
Aris was appointed Dirdik KPK September 14, 2015 and earlier when the rank of commissioner (Kombes) Aris served as Deputy Director of Corruption (Wadirtipikor) Bareskrim Police Headquarters.
Vice Chairman of the Special Committee Masinton Pasaribu appreciated the presence of Aris Budiman in the RDP Pansus for questioning and explanation related to allegations of the meeting concerned with members of Parliament.
The PDI-P politician admitted that he had met Aris for the first time, namely in the RDP and had not known him before.
Previously, in a video examination of suspected cases of alleged false allegations of Electronic ID card project Miryam S Haryani in Corruption Court, Aris called Miryam met members of Commission III of the House and asked Rp2 billion for "security" corruption case megaproyek E-KTP. (Ant)
