KPK Blocks Two Case of Director General of Sea Transportation

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has banned two people in the investigation of criminal acts of corruption in bribery related to licensing and procurement of projects within the Directorate General of Sea Transportation for Fiscal Year 2016-2017.

"Since 31 August 2017, the KPK has requested immigration to prevent two people traveling abroad for the need of an investigation of suspect Antonius Tonny Budiono," said KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah at KPK building, Jakarta, Monday (9/10/2017)

The two prevented (block) men were private employees, respectively Aloys Sutarto and Oscar Budiono, BSC.

KPK has set the Directorate General of Sea Transport Ministry of Transportation is off Antonius Tonny Budiono and Commissioner of PT Adhi Guna Keruktama Adiputra Kurniawan as a suspect.

In the case investigation, the KPK on Monday (9/10) examined Adiputra Kurniawan as a witness to suspect Antonius Tonny Budiono.

"Investigators deepen the flow of funds to Antonius Tonny Budiono known Adiputra has a lot of accounts and the process how Adiputra won the project," he said.

In addition to checking Adiputra, the KPK also examined the Chairman of the Working Group on Dredging of the Plot of the Port of Pulang Knives in 2016, Head of the Office of Port Authority and the Port Authority (KSOP) of Class II Pontianak Salim for the Adiputra suspect.

"The capacity of Salim as Chairman of Working Group, the team deepens the process of winning PT Adhi Guna Keruktama related to the project in Pulang Pisau." Known PT Adhi Guna Keruktama won several projects, "said Febri.

Febri also stated KPK still dig the information and elaborate in more detail related to indication of acceptance of bribe or gratification received by Tonny Budiono.
