PLN Signed MOU with Industrial Park Developers

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT PLN (Persero) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with several industrial estate developers in South Sumatra, Jambi and Bengkulu.
This MOU was signed by GM PT PLN (Persero) PLN South Sumatra, Jambi and Bengkulu (WS2JB) Daryono, Intan Fitriana Fauzi (Sriwijaya CBD-Kawasan Industri) located in Palembang City, Special Economic Area Tanjung Api Api in South Sumatera represented by IGB Director Surya Negara and Adi Adriansyah from PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk in Palembang, the written statement received in Jakarta, Saturday (25/11/2017)
This cooperation refers to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 30 Year 2009 on electricity, that every power installation shall have SLO and ESDM Regulation Number 28 of 2016 regarding provisions on the implementation of electricity tariff provided by PT PLN (Persero).
The event opened with remarks by Daryono, GM PT PLN (Persero) WS2JB representing the management of PLN South Sumatera, Jambi, Bengkulu.
"The installation of electrical connections is also part of the effort to accelerate the electrification ratio", said Daryono.
He said the power supply in South Sumatra is sufficient and even surplus. With the surplus of power, PLN has more capability to serve the demand of electricity supply, both from society and industry.
Meanwhile, the owner and manager of Sriwijaya Industrial Estate Palembang in Palembang, Intan Fitriana Fauzi said the new power connection connection agreement is in line with the provision of obtaining electricity with premium services.
The power requirement ratio of Sriwijaya Industrial Area is around 60 megawatts for an area of about 300 hectares.
For that, he said, Sriwijaya Industrial Estate CBD wills disbursement of electricity.
"We also provide the construction of a substance of Gardu Beton for PT PLN's medium voltage cubicle placement and we also ensure that the ownership of the certified land is ready for electricity supply to the producers and investors who are working in the Palembang Industrial Estate of Sriwijaya CBD" said Intan Fauzi.
PT PLN will undertake the construction of distribution networks and measuring and limiting devices (APP) for the purpose of power distribution in the Area.
"Further implementation of this memorandum of understanding will be regulated in detail in the power purchase agreement with due regard to applicable laws and regulations," she said.
