Increase PAD, Pemkab Badung Bali Develop MICE Tourism Potential

INDUSTRY.co.id - Mangupura - Badung Regency Government, Bali, is eyeing the potential of tourists "meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition" (MICE) to increase local revenue (PAD).
"I demonstrated Badung Regency to invest in building a meeting room at BNDCC, Nusa Dua, because MICE tourists began to rise to Bali," said Badung District Secretary Wayan Adi Arnawa in Mangupura, Thursday (14/7/2017)
This can be a step that previously became the input of Badung DPRD who want the Badung Regency Government to invest to increase PAD. In addition, another way to increase PAD by building an international stadium.
"The plan to build an international stadium is done, to raise the sport tourism plan, I agree," he said.
Related to detailed engineering design (DED) for holding company in investment made by Badung regency, he said, it has been designed, however, it will be done checking process and follow up.
"I will do the check again in R & D, because until now I have not seen how much the review budget for this holding company," he said.
Earlier, Vice Chairman of Badung Parliament Made Sunarta expects, Badung regency government can increase revenue.
"This effort is believed, because Badung is a district that is earning a good income from the services sector tourism," he said.
