INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - vertical shelter concept Transit Oriented Development (TOD) sometime later is becoming its own trend among developers both private and government.

The goal is to bring people closer to public transportation access. Not only that, the development of the TOD concept area is also intended to accelerate the creation of economic centers on the outskirts of the public transportation connected capital.

"The development of TOD is quite good, this is also the answer to the housing needs in Indonesia today," said Mutim Wijoyo as Vice Chairman of Management of Apartment and Apartment Apartments Real Estate Indonesia Central Board (DPP REI) to INDUSTRY.co.id in Jakarta, Monday (12/18/2017).

He added, can be imagined if the dwelling or office and mall with each other integrate each other, this will be its own efficiency both in terms of time and cost.

"TOD is the answer to the millennium today, with efficiency and flexibility to make this dwelling much in demand of the millennium," he explained.

However, he added, the development of TOD must be accompanied by innovations and facilities to support the daily life of the millennial itself.

"In addition to build in the transport area, if added with some other supporting facilities will be more interesting again," said Mutual.

Thus, added Mualim, TOD dwelling can also provide more benefits to the community. The problem with TOD dwelling, people will be given the right to live with an affordable price.

"Moreover, (TOD) also ensures the right to live in the community as well as clothing and food needs," concluded Mutual.
