INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) will conduct corporate action of additional capital without preemptive rights (HMETD) alias private placement worth a total of Rp4.8 trillion.
"The plan, corporate action will be implemented within two years, including for the development of BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) and the development of online business," said Sutanto Hartono, Vice President Director of EMTK, in Jakarta, Monday (18/12/2017).
Sutanto explained online business that will be developed by the management of the company in the future always needs investment in order to continue to grow especially in the middle of the current tight competition.
Therefore, according to Sutanto, EMTK's management plans to allocate Rp390 billion to finance capital expenditure (capex) in 2018. The value is 10% higher than 2017's capex of Rp354.50 billion.
"Capex 2018 will be used to finance business development and finance the maintenance of various equipment of the company next year," Sutanto added. (Abraham Sihombing)
