INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandung - Mayor of Bandung, Ridwan Kamil, said one of the keys to avoid conflict in the name of race, ethnicity, religion, and culture with a dialogue.
"We are often different because we rarely want humanity to come to dialogue," said the man who was familiarly called Emil while attending the event "Open House" at St Peter's Cathedral Church, Bandung, Monday (25/12/2017).
Emil said, most of the disputes that occur especially in cyberspace is the rarity of dialogue amid differences in understanding.
People often do monologues rather than dialogue, making it difficult to find a point of understanding of things that are not approved.
"One key to be reproduced today is that in digital daytime routines, daily discussions, multiply dialogue, do not be a nation with little dialogue for monologues," he told media.
He hopes, the dialogue room into a tradition in everyday life, especially for the people of Bandung in solving a problem.
If the dialogue room has become a habit of society, he is optimistic about everything that can cause disputes to be suppressed early on.
"The spirit of dialogue from different things, hopefully become a tradition of Bandung residents, if it is the basis of support among fellow religious people, I believe Bandung is always peaceful," he said.
