2018, Government Looses Rp 4.5 T for Housing Loan Aid

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government through the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing will disburse Rp 4.5 trillion in mortgage loans in 2018.
The funds will be distributed by the Housing Finance Funding Management Center (PPDPP) of the PUPR Ministry through the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility scheme (FLPP) and covering 42 thousand housing units.
In 2018 FLPP channeling banks increased to 40 executing banks. Eight of them are commercial banks and 32 regional development banks. It also includes 12 sharia banks, "said Director General of Housing Finance at the Public Works and People's Housing Ministry, Lana Winayanti in Jakarta.
The fund is divided into Rp 2.2 trillion from the Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and Rp 2.3 trillion from the optimization of the return of the principal.
"We hope more bank distributors will improve access for the community, the funds can be liquidated in January 2018," said Lana.
While Minister of PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljono said if KPR FLPP is a government program to meet the needs of homes for all people. "FLPP is five percent interest, one percent down payment and Rp 4 million cash aid," he explained
