INDUSTRY.co.id - Probolinggo - On the eve of the turn of 2017, the Department of Youth, Sports, Tourism and Culture (Disporaparbud) Probolinggo District held a cultural parade "Bromo Night Carnival" (BNC) held in the Tengger Tribe neighborhood of Probolinggo District, East Java.
"Hopefully BNC activities can be held every year on the eve of the new year following the enthusiasm of the community is very high to follow," said Sukapura Yulius Christian sub-district head Sukapura district, Probolinggo regency on Monday.

"From Tengger community in Kecamatan Sukapura featuring Jengganan Tengger Jetak Village, Reog Singo Budoyo from Wonotoro Village, Kuda Lumping from Ngadas Village, Reog Abdi Budoyo Ngadis Village and Jaranan Tengger Ngadirejo Village," he said.
During this time, he added, only the beauty of natural scenery is enjoyed by tourists Bromo Mountain, but with the momentum of the cultural parade "Bromo Night Carnival" is a cultural destination owned by Tengger people who can also attract domestic and foreign tourists sympathy.
"Enthusiastic citizens and tourists are quite high, so in the future the cultural parade will be held more lively and culturally packed with` Bromo Night Carnival` in the coming year to enliven the turn of the year, "he said.
He said that through the BNC, the New Year celebration in the Tengger Tribe community is celebrated in accordance with local customs, traditions and wisdom, so that in the future will be included all the existing components, both villages, schools and tourist services in Mount Bromo.
Meanwhile, Secretary of Disporaparbud Probolinggo regency Tatok Krismarhento said BNC is a form of appreciation and serving to enliven the turn of the new year with the aim of attracting the attention of visitors of local and foreign tourists in Mount Bromo. (Ant)
