INDUSTRY.co.id - Pontianak - Regent Landak District, dr. Karolin Margret Natasa complied with the Criminal Unit of Polres Mempawah to give testimony as a witness related to the report of the crime of fraud in house procurement for the poor people in Mempawah District.
"Today I provide information related to the issue of public reports of allegations of fraud that profite my name as Regent Landak," said Karolin in Police Mempawah, yesterday.
She reiterated that he has never asked individuals or groups of people to withdraw funds in various aid programs to the community.
"I am today informing that it is not true that I have ever asked people to raise money for housing aid programs for the underprivileged," Karolin told media crews.
The alleged criminal fraud case perpetrated by the LS suspect has entered the investigation stage with the issuance of letter number: SP. Sidik / 69 / XI / 2017 dated November 29, 2017.
The modus operandi carried out by the suspect is to visit residents' homes to offer low-cost housing programs for poor people. Each victim is required to deposit at least Rp500 thousand to process certificate handling. The amount of money to be deposited reaches Rp1 million.
Karolin hopes a similar incident does not happen again and asks every citizen to be more vigilant against any fraud actions under the guise of government aid programs.
"If anyone on behalf of me please can confirm directly to us in Landak District," she said.
