Jakarta - The Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia noted that it has revoked the operation permit for 13 companies of Umrah pilgrims. Finally, Kemenag also revoked the operation permit of PT Al-Utsmaniyah Travel Bureau (Hannien Tour) last week.
Director of Umrah and Special Hajj Ministry of Religious Affairs, Arfi Hatim said it continues to make improvements in the supervision of the pilgrimage pilgrimage travel organizers (PPIU).
Since 2015 until now, a total of 13 travel [PPUI] which we have revoked its license, 5 travels of which was revoked during 2017, he said yesterday.
He, in the official website of Kemenag, explained besides Hannien Tour, his side during 2017 revoked operational permit of PT Al-Maha Tour & Travel, PT Assyifa Mandiri Wisata, PT Raudah Kharisma Wisata, and PT First Anugerah Karya Wisata (First Travel).
Previously, Kemenag revoked the respective permits of 4 PPIU in 2015 and 2016 namely PT Mediterrania Travel, PT Mustaqbal Lima, PT Ronalditya, and PT Kopindo Wisata during the period 2015.
Furthermore, PPIU, which stopped its operating license in 2016, is PT Maulana, PT Timur Sarana Tour & Travel, PT Diva Sakinah, and PT Hikmah Sakti Perdana.
According to him, the Ministry of Religious Affairs also recorded 12 PPIUs whose licenses are not renewed, among others, because they cannot be processed for renewal permit based on the accreditation result, and are declared no longer valid based on the accreditation result.
In addition to the expiration of his license has expired, no renewal, and no renewal of PPIU permit related to the ownership of shares and the composition of the board of directors of foreign or non-Muslim countries.
The 12 PPIUs are PT Catur Daya Utama (2015), PT Huli Saqdah (2015), PT Maccadina (2015), PT Gema Arofah (2015), PT Wisata Pesona Nugraha (2016), and PT Assuryaniyah Cipta Prima (2016).

Arfi said Kemenag is committed to continue to improve the implementation of Umrah worship. One of them is by arranging regulations and strengthening information system.
The regulation is the Umrah Integrated Supervision Information System and the Special Hajj (Sipatuh). It is hoped that the regulation can become a monitoring and control tool for government and society.
"The public will be able to access Sipatuh so that they can come to know if there is a travel bureau abandoned prospective Umrah pilgrim or not keep his promise," he asserted.
