Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly Asks the People to Prevent Pilkada from Money Politics

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly, Zulkifli Hasan, urged all parties to prevent money politics in the regional head election which will take place in 2018.

Zulkifli in a press statement received Sunday morning (14/1/2018) in Jakarta said that candidates for regional heads are reminded to compete in good ways.

He asked the contestants who fought in the elections not to justify any means in an effort to win the seat of the regional head.

"Do not use money politics, do not divide and use sara. The elections must be done in a wise way because we are actually competing," he said.

Pilkada, said Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly, is a competition that is followed by fellow children of the nation so as not to cause a split. Therefore, in the pilkada should be pitted concepts, ideas, programs, and figures.
