Keep Promote Tourism, Indonesia Promote the Beauty of Manado in Guangzhou

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, To introduce 10 Indonesian tourist destinations "Beyond Bali", the government of Indonesia continues doing various promotional activities abroad one of them in Guangzhou, China.

Promotion is not only done by the government, all walks of life also participate in this promotional effort, including Lion Air airline, which since 2016 has several direct flight routes from various cities in China to Jakarta, Bali and Manado.

To continue to enhance the promotion of Indonesia's tourism, in early 2018 Lion Air organized Manado Tourism Promotion and Manado Photography Contest.

The activities supported by the Provincial Government of North Sulawesi and KJRI Guangzhou, were officially launched at China Hotel, Guangzhou, on January 17, 2018.

Also attending the promotional event were Head of Tourism and Head of North Sulawesi Province BKPMD, CEO of Lion Air Jakarta, and Acting Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Guangzhou.

The event was attended by no less than 500 guests consisting of tour operators / travel agents, diving communities, media, and bloggers who directly broadcast the course of the event online.

The Manado Photography Contest will take place throughout 2018 and is open to all, providing rewards of RMB 200 million (USD 300 thousand) plus the "President Cup" award.

This activity is quite prestigious because the winner's judgment involves famous judges in China, including Gary Sun, Qu Kaitang, and Xie Mo who have received awards inside and outside of China.

At the same event was signed a cooperation agreement between Lion Air Guangzhou with Diving Association for marine tourism sector, and strategic partnership with camera manufacturer "Canon".
