INDUSTRY.co.id - Yogyakarta - The discourse of night tour development along Parangtritis Beach, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, is expected to be realized to increase tourist visit.

"We are very glad if that happens," said Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Travel Company (Asita) Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) Udhi Sudhiyanto in Yogyakarta on Thursday.

According Udhi, night tours along Parangtritis Beach can be one of the alternative new tourist destinations that have been strong enough to attract tourists come to Yogyakarta.

The opening of new tourist destinations such as Taman Bruce in Sleman and Kalibiru in Kulon Progo, according to him, will provide many choices for tourists as well as potentially increase the length of stay and the frequency of their tour.
Nevertheless, Udhi hopes in designing the beach night tour, related agencies need to pay careful attention to service standards and tourist comfort.

"Two very important things are safety and comfort," he said.

Previously, Head of Tourism (Dispar) DIY Aris Riyanta called the concept of night tours along Parangtritis Beach, Bantul has the potential to be developed like a night tour in Jimbaran Beach, Bali.

"Even if the South Traffic Line (JJLS) is already established not only in Parangtritis, Bantul, interesting night tours are developed along the south coast of Gunung Kidul such as Wedi Ombo or Krakal Beach," he said.

According to Aris, the development of night tour in Parangtritis Beach will not cause social impacts as long as the concept of development does not conflict with the customs, culture, and social norms in DIY.
