Pertamina Raises Price Pertamax Cs

INDUSTRY.co.id - PT Pertamina Persero released a list of non-subsidized fuel prices such as Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Dex and Dexlite.

Based on Pertamina's official website Monday (26/2/2018), for the Jakarta area, Pertamax price went up from Rp 8,600 to Rp 8,900 per liter. Then Pertamax Turbo price is Rp 10,100 per liter from the previous Rp 9,600

While Pertamina Dex rose from Rp 9,250 to Rp 10,000. Dexlite from Rp 7,500 to Rp 8,100 per liter. The price of Pertalite remains Rp 7,600 per liter.

The increase is also happened in other areas that apply on February 24, 2018. Based on Pertamina data, there are three regions with the highest Pertamax price, namely in North Maluku which is RP 11,750 per liter, West Papua Rp 11.550, and Papua Rp 11.050.

While Pertamax price in other areas are in the range of Rp 9,000 per liter. The lowest price reached Rp 8,900 in Java Island, Bali, some provinces in Sumatra and Kalimantan.

Pertamina Corporate Communication VP, Adiatma Sardjito said that Pertamax fuel price increase is influenced by world crude oil price.

"Because of the price of the crude," said Adiatma as reported.

Reported by Reuters on Monday (26/2), the price of crude oil rose 1.2 percent after the closure of El Feel oil field in Libya. The oil field produces 70,000 barrels of crude oil per day, as reported by Reuters.
