INDUSTRY.co.id - Bandung - The General Elections Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia emphasizes to political parties that the campaign process is a venue for the delivery of vision, mission and program.

With this ban, the KPU wants to design that the process of campaign stage is political education for the community. This is intended to enable voters to know about the priority programs of regional head candidates.
If the Political Parties are found to be violating the prevailing provisions, the KPU has prepared a number of sanctions ranging from mild to severe categories.
"There are provisions, various sanctions warned, discontinued campaigns, no campaigns, to the point where there is a criminal element, massive violations can be disqualified," he said.
