INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Internet-based cab Taxi Company has been instructed not to hire new driver partners. The decision was directly ordered by the Coordinating Minister for the Field of Kemaririman, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, recently.
During this time the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has set a quota given in 15 provinces in Indonesia as many as 91 thousand. But until now the quota is not entirely the driver meets the provisions of Ministerial Regulation (PM) No. 108 of 2017.
"This one just cleared out, only when it's time to recruit again. Some of the current area has also exceeded the quota," said Director General of Land Transportation Kemenhub, Budi Setiyadi.
Budi admitted that currently the number of drivers who meet the requirements of PM 108 is still very minimal. Whereas Kemenhub has provided various facilities so that the drivers meet the requirements, one of them must have a SIM General.
During this time, in every policy making on the online taxi, Budi confirmed, it always involves applicators and taxi drivers online. "And they agree and are ready to implement," he said.
Until now Budi claimed not to know for sure whether the applicator is still doing the recruitment of the driver or not. This is because the dashboard submitted to his side of Kemenkominfo still not real time.
"We do not know for sure, but if we are still doing taxi driver pens on social sanction online first, what they are not shy Do not look for business profit alone, but we also have to think ahead," he said
