Perum PPD Targets All City Bus Integrated Station This Year

PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia bersama Perum Pengangkutan Penumpang Djakarta (berkomitmen mendukung implementasi integrasi antar moda melalui layanan alat bayar commuter yakni tiket Kartu Multi Trip (KMT) yang dapat digunakan untuk bus kota.
INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government continues to encourage the public to switch to mass transportation, one of them through commuter line. Therefore, to accommodate this matter, PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia explores with Perum Transportation of Passenger Djakarta (PPD) by launching multi trip card which can be used in city bus.
"We are targeting for this year everything can be integrated. In addition to Sudirman station, we will soon integrate it in Depok, Cibubur and Kalibata," said PT KCI Operations & Marketing Director Pande Putu Yasa in a press conference at Sudirman Station on Friday, March 16, 2018.
He said, why start at Sudirman station, because the station Sudirman Station the number of passenger movements that most reaches 65 thousand people per day.
Perum PPD for integration between these modes has set up six city buses. Where for the premium bus capacity of people reached 34 people and business class reach 54 people. It has also been working with developers who create residential with the concept of TOD. Among others with Adhikarya, Podomor Group, even in time with the Lippo Group.
"So for all existing TOD Perum PPD has prepared public transportation," he explained.
Director of Operations and Marketing of PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia, Subakir said the synergy of KCI and Perum PPD will provide services and convenience and value for all KRL service users.
"This is also history for us because for the first time the Multi Trip Card can be used as a means of paying outside the KCI ecosystem itself," he concluded
He mentioned that commuter trains have transported 315 million passengers a year, of which 950 thousand people per day. Users of the Commuter Line KRL stationed by Sudirman can directly change the mode to the PPD bus to gambier or BlokM at the point of pick-up available at the exit statsiun Blora street direction.
For this early stage the commuter operated trans-commuting route is Sudirman station, Gambir, and Sudirman-Blok M Station with 5,000 tickets for one trip. Transcommuter PPD fleet is ready to serve users starting at 05.00 am until 22.00 pm every day with departure time every 30 minutes.
