Empower Ciliwung, BAZNAS Develops Zakat Tourism

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) held a Zakat Tour program through the Ciliwung River.

"The program that is followed by the muzaki (payers of zakat), aims to introduce more closely the programs of BAZNAS and invite them to love the environment, especially the Ciliwung River," said Deputy BAZNAS, M. Arifin Purwakananta, in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday (31 / 3/2018).

Arifin pointed out the BAZNAS Disaster Response (BTB) and Rumah Sehat BAZNAS (RSB), which is getting more down to earth due to the benefits and the increasingly perceived by the community.

"Thank you BTB, Rumah Sehat BAZNAS and the committee that supports zakat tourism is part of the fundraising experiences that we develop to further strengthen the muzaki to know the various programs of BAZNAS," said Arifin.

This time, he said, which was introduced is BTB. "This is the second zakat tour, after the first invites muzaki to feel the pace of educational empowerment at Sekolah Cendekia BAZNAS (SCB) .Hopefully give a good impression to muzaki.

He explains, this year Muzaki Services Division BAZNAS will organize zakat tours as much as 12 times. "Hopefully given the convenience so that the programs BAZNAS increasingly recognized and felt the benefits by the public," said Arifin.

Meanwhile, Head of Services Division of Muzaki BAZNAS, Tito Kurniawan, explained, the participants who participated reached 54 people consisting of adults, teenagers and children.

"This zakat tourism program was initiated by Deputy BAZNAS Pak Arifin to introduce more BAZNAS programs to muzaki," he said.

Tito mentioned the flagship programs BAZNAS introduced to the muzaki, participants Zakat Tour Arung Ciliwung include BTB and RSB.

"This activity is done as a form of transparency presented to muzaki so that they will know directly and understand the benefits of each donation given to BAZNAS," he said.

Tito hopes, this activity can continue to run until next year, with the introduction of different programs. The location was more extensive in the Greater Jakarta area even to touch out of the island.

"Hopefully we can continue to synergize with cross division and program so that other zakat tourism can be done more optimally and give positive impact to the increasing of public trust to BAZNAS," he said.

Zakat tourism is packed with activities titled "Ciliwung River Arrangement" is started at 05.30 WIB until finished.

In this program, besides being invited to wade through the Ciliwung River by inflatable boat, muzaki zakat tour participants are also invited to care about the environment by cleaning up the Ciliwung River.

Participants were also introduced to RSB programs such as Ciliwung River community health service, and distribution of hygiene kits.

Not only that, the BAZNAS Disaster Response team also introduced to the participants of the Flood preparedness response program, Happening Art of Fish Seed Removal for Ciliwung River Conservation.

In detail, the event starts from the registration of participants with a gathering point at the BAZNAS Kebon Sirih. 57 Central Jakarta. Then, towards the second gathering point in Depok City, which is parking KFC Margonda.

After that, the participants headed to the location of the rafting at Ciliwung River at Panus Bridge. Here, there is a welcoming ceremony from the committee and Ciliwung figures, equipment briefing, tracking and safety secure.

After that, the participants waded through the river and Ciliwung clean-up action. At 09.00 -11.00 WIB followed by health service residents Ciliwung River banks and distribution of hygiene kit located at Jalan Gotong Royong, Village Kemiri Muka, Beji.

Then, finish and coffee break at the location, followed by Flood Emergency Response from BAZNAS Disaster Response, Happening Art Release of Seed Fish for Ciliwung River Conservation.

Zakat Arung Ciliwung Tour Program is organized by BAZNAS cooperation with community of forests.
