KPK Immediately Acts Illegal Logging Cases Losses State Trillions of Rupiah

The timber theft is expected to continue and should be prevented together, he said.

According to him, indeed prevention needs to be maximized because to increase local revenue.

Moreover, natural resources in Indonesia including South Sumatra are large enough that the potential must be excavated officially, he said.

In addition, there are much local revenue in the forestry, mining, plantation and marine sectors, he said.

Therefore, through this coordination meeting, it is expected that all parties can prevent the fraud, especially violating the rules, he said. In addition, according to him, the business license must be frozen if not qualified.

All of it is none other so that natural resources can be utilized for the common good.

Coordination meeting the discussion on the action plan of the natural resource sector together with the KPK was opened by Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Nasrun Umar.
