INDUSTRY.co.id - Palembang - Chairman of the National Rescue Team National Rescue Team KPK Prevention Division Dian Patria said, the state suffered trillions of dollars due to theft of timber by irresponsible people.

This is because the theft of his funds did not go to the state treasury, he said, during a coordination meeting with the ranks of the Government of South Sumatra Province in Palembang, Monday (2/4/2018)

He said, coupled with the "illegal logging" of land tax building did not enter the government.

The timber theft is expected to continue and should be prevented together, he said.

According to him, indeed prevention needs to be maximized because to increase local revenue.

Moreover, natural resources in Indonesia including South Sumatra are large enough that the potential must be excavated officially, he said.

In addition, there are much local revenue in the forestry, mining, plantation and marine sectors, he said.

Therefore, through this coordination meeting, it is expected that all parties can prevent the fraud, especially violating the rules, he said. In addition, according to him, the business license must be frozen if not qualified.

All of it is none other so that natural resources can be utilized for the common good.

Coordination meeting the discussion on the action plan of the natural resource sector together with the KPK was opened by Regional Secretary of South Sumatra Nasrun Umar.
