INDUSTRY.co.id - Yogyakarta - Joint Task Force Commander for the 2018 Election and Presidential Election 2019 DPP Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said the formation of the third axis is not as easy as imagined although possibility embodied in the 2019 presidential election.
"The possibility (the third axis) continues to be processed and certainly not as easy and not as simple as imagined," said Agus after attending the inauguration ceremony of DPD and DPC Democratic Party of DIY at Jogja Expo Center (JEC), Monday (9 / 4/2018).
According to Agus, the presidency of the prescribed presidential nomination reaches 20 percent, making it difficult for political parties to be able to unite the other political parties in the third axis outside of the petahana Joko Widodo and Gerindra Prabowo Subianto.
"The 20 percent '' Presidential threshold 'locks up political parties, not many powerful political parties can become anchors or unifier of other political parties," he said.
Nevertheless, AHY remains optimistic and believes that the formation of the third axis is still possible to materialize in the 2019 presidential election.
"In politics everything is still possible, we should not go ahead of God's plan, whether there will be only two axes back like the 2014 election or the possibility of a third axis," he told media crews.
According to AHY, until now the Democrat Party continues to communicate with various other political parties to build a coalition that is not necessarily entirely known to the mass media. The most important thing, according to him, is to build "chemistry", and mutual trust based on the same perspective and platform among coalition political parties.
"We will see it and it will be more interesting now, April, May, June, July, and in the end of August we will know who will be promoted as president and vice president based on coalition built. .
