Pertamina President Director Must Be Able to Keep Premium Supply

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) hopes that the new President Director of Pertamina will be able to maintain the supply of Premium Petroleum Fuel and escort the one price program.
Rizal Calvary Marimbo, a spokesman for PSI for Economy, Industry and Business, said in Jakarta on Sunday (22/4/018) welcomed the government's strict steps to remove Elia Massa Manik from the position of President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) and other leaders.
"The removal is correct, of course there are objective considerations of the government as Pertamina shareowner associated with the assignment and so forth," he said.
As is known, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Rini Soemarno removed Elia Massa Manik from the position of President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) through the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Pertamina (Persero) last weekend.
There are five positions replaced in the GMS including President Director Elia Massa Manik. Then, Pertamina's Director of Processing and Petrochemical Project (MPPP) Ardhy N. Mokobombang, Toharso Processing Director, Asset Management Director Dwi Wahyu Daryoto, Corporate Marketing Director Muchamad Iskandar.
Rizal rate, long past president is not able to maintain the supply of Premium type of fuel, causing scarcity in various places. Therefore, PSI hopes that the new leadership will be Pertamina definitively held by the figure that is able to maintain the supply of Premium type of fuel.
"Do not be repeated, Premium must be 'ready stock', it's her job," Rizal said.
PSI also hopes the new president will be able to escort the BBM program one price because this program is right to give a sense of justice and overcome price imbalances in various regions.
"Commercially, Pertamina has to pursue profit, but Pertamina also has to run PSO (public service obligation) and become government mandate in various assignments," said Rizal.
After dismissing Elijah, the government then appointed Nicke Widyawati to replace Elijah. Nicke Widyawati name became public since entering the body of PT PLN (Persero) in 2014.
He served as Director of Commerce, Risk Management and Compliance. Then there was another reshuffle in PLN, and Nicke served as Director of Strategic Procurement 1 PLN.
