President University Distributes Rp65 Billion Scholarships

INDUSTRY.co.id - President University poured huge funds for high school graduates. President University prepares Rp 65 billion for selected students to continue their education at President University.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of President University, Dr. Agus H. Canny, M.A., M.Sc. Said that every year President University provides scholarships worth Rp 65 billion to 1,400 graduates of SMA / SMK. This year, the scholarship recipients come from the top 10 in their home school.
"If gendered distribution is for women as much as 42% and men 58%, while 51% from public schools, 23% from international schools and 26% from private schools," said Dr Agus in a written statement, Monday (7/8/2017).
New admissions in the academic year 2017/2018 are held on 5 and 6 August 2017. Chairman of the new student enrollment committee, Dr. Eng. Lydia Anggraini, S.T., M.Eng conveyed that all prospective students who have been registered, either from the scholarship recipients or who got the rank in accordance with the value of placement test can enter and stay in the Student Dormitory commonly called President University Student House [PUSH].
Then all new students will attend Pre-University Bridging Program 2017 which is held over the next three weeks, starting with Psikotest, TOEIC Test [Test of English for International Communication], English preparation and Reflection Core Values.
During this process, all new students will be forged to study 'Full English' well and correctly so that all students can follow the lecture smoothly.
In addition to the use of English as an introduction to lectures, President University also implements a learning system based on character education. In addition, the lecturers of President University always create an atmosphere of competition in the classroom.
The result of the implementation of the system is 82% of scholarship recipients have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.5 or cum laude. Dr Agus also added that in this year as many as 96% of students graduate within an average of 3.5 years. In the last 3 years, the Department of Law averaged 4 out of 10 students who graduated with cum laude predicate.
For 2016 graduates, 93% have been accepted before they graduate as many as 74% who got a job offer from 2 to 3 companies both nationally and multinational.
