INDUSTRY.co.id - Moisture of facial skin while undergoing fasting will automatically decrease and the skin tends to dull due to lack of mineral intake in the body. Moreover, during fasting many people tend to choose to be in the air conditioned room because it feels more comfortable.

According to Dermatologist dr. Weny Yulisandraini S. Ked, there are three ways to overcome the problem of dull and dry facial skin during fasting.

1. Expand Mineral Water Consumption

The benefits of mineral water or water is very impact on body metabolism and facial skin. By drinking mineral water at least 8 glasses a day, 4 glasses at dawn and 4 cups when breaking the fast, can overcome dull and dry facial skin.

"In order not to get bored, can make infused water by adding fruits into mineral water, to feel more fresh," said dr. Wenny met at a press conference launching JAFRA's latest product, on Wednesday (23/5) at Amaroossa Cosmo Hotel, Jakarta.

In addition, avoid or reduce consumption of types of beverages containing high sugar content such as soda, syrup, the sweet and coffee.

2. Consumption of Fruits

Consumption of fruits containing vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin K such as apples, oranges, kiwi, melon, papaya, strawberries, mango, pineapple, avocado, plums, bananas, dates and wine.

3. Use Sunblock or Sunscreen

Sunblock or sunscreen is very well worn when outdoors. Dermatologist Wenny explains, that most sunblock can only last 1 to 4 hours a night.

"Choose sunblock that has an SPF content of 30 to 50 to maintain skin moisture," said dr. Wenny.
