This Six Alleged Entities Offer Fake Investment

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- Task Force Investments announced six entities that allegedly offered fake investment products because it has the characteristics of promising an unreasonable profit in quick time.

"Companies that are intentions that are not good and cannot be given permission, we request that they stop their activities and turned into a legal activity," Chairman of Task Force Investigation Tongam Lumban Tobing in Jakarta, Friday (25/05/2018)

The six entities are

1.PT Medussa Multi Business Center Tour & Travel (MMBC Tour & Travel)

2.PT Travel Arafah Sightseeing Excellency

3.PT Bandung Eco Synergy Technology (BEST) / Sinergy World / Eco Racing

4. PT Duta Bisnis School / PT Duta Future International

5. PT Bes Maestro Franchise (Click & Share / www.klikshare.co.id)

6. GainMax Capital Limited (gainmax.co.uk/gainmaxcapital.blogspot.co.id)

Tongam also mentioned the importance of community participation as a source of information when there is an illegal investment practice by an entity.

"We also ask the community to play a role not to participate in the activity," he said.

Task Force Performance Investments in the field of handling there are 80 entities that have been handled from 102 entities reported by the community throughout 2017. As of May 2018, the Investment Alert Task Force has appealed to the public to be careful with 78 entities.

Estimated losses due to the investment activities are quite large fake. In the period 2007-2017, the estimated total losses reached approximately Rp105, 81 trillion.

The characteristics of false investments include promising unfair advantage in quick time, promising bonuses from recruiting new members, utilizing public figures to attract investing interests, free risk claims, and illegitimate legitimacy such as lack of permits.

OJK encourages people to recognize their institutions and products before investing. People are encouraged to examine the legality of the institution and its products, to understand the business processes offered as well as the benefits and risks.
