INDUSTRY.co.id - Jember - PT Pertamina will place several modular gas stations or move in a number of land transportation routes that do not have a permanent gas station during Ramadan and Lebaran 2018.
Some rest areas that are still empty will be used as temporary gas station. "There are several toll roads in East Java that rest area is still empty," said Pertamina Communication and CSR Officer, Edi Mangun.
Pertamina has met with Governor Soekarwo and discussed it. "In principle, in all the mapped areas will be installed," said Edi.
Edi added, as a state-owned company, Pertamina is not just pursuing profit. But how to provide fuel can get to the community in an effective way. One of these modular SPBU will be applied.
Pertamina also increases the amount of stock in some areas. There are certain areas that get up to 60 percent of the normal time. "The addition depends on the needs of the region, including fuel and subsidized LPG," said Edi.
According to Edi, Pertamina has a secure fuel stock obligation during the fasting month and Eid. "We are legally only authorized to control at the base agency level," he said. (Bj)
