INDUSTRY.co.id - Yogyakarta - Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung said he was grateful for the implementation of the election of regional heads (pilkada) held simultaneously in 171 constituencies on Wednesday (27/6/2018) last, took place safely, peacefully, and well.

"Hopefully, until the calculation of real count in the General Elections Commission (KPU), and the determination of that goes well," said Seskab answering reporters' questions after becoming a keynote speaker in Leadership Talk held at Sukadji Ranuwiharjo Auditorium, Master of Management Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Gadjah Mada (MM FEB UGM), Yogyakarta, Saturday (6/30/2018).

Seskab hopes that the implementation of Pilkada Serentak 2018 and the follow up process until the determination of the winner in the KPU will be a process of democracy maturation for the Indonesian nation.

He asserted, Pilkada Serentak 2018 is a forum of democracy and the people have made their choice on the pilkada. The choice must be respected by anyone. "If there is still dissatisfaction there is an outlet that is sued to the Constitutional Court," explained Seskab.

Asked about the results of election results with the presidential election (pilpres) next year, Seskab Pramono Anung said, if viewed from the results of pilkada and also the future portrait of pilpres actually people can already determine it.

But Seskab asserted, for the government itself the most important 171 pilkada that took place in 17 provinces is seen by the world, running well, safe, serene, and nothing worrisome.

"This is a good capital for the implementation of presidential election in 2019 later," said Seskab.

Alluding to the neutrality of the apparatus, according to Seskab, has been very neutral, proven and transparent.

He reminded, now it is impossible apparatus is not neutral because everything is very open and at every polling station (voting place) there is a witness. Therefore, according to Seskab, what was feared before the implementation of the pilkada was not proven.

The incidents in the field, continued Seskab, do exist and not everything can run smoothly. But if viewed thoroughly, according to the Head of Public, this pilkada both from the results and the process went well.
