Encourage Industry Implementation 4.0, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Prepares Data Connectivity

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Minister of Communication and Information Rudiantara revealed, data connectivity is the key in the implementation of industry 4.0 which demands the availability of information quickly and accurately.

"At the time of entering the new era of industry 4.0, connectivity is something that is inseparable. My task is to ensure that connectivity exists," Rudiantara said at the Innofest 2018 event in Jakarta, Tuesday (24/7/2018).

According to the Minister of Communication and Information, the government currently not only acts as a regulator in encouraging the achievement of the 4.0 industrial revolution target, but also as a facilitator and accelerator of the domestic business world.

"We are preparing policies that are in harmony and support the implementation of industry 4.0 in Indonesia," he said.

The government targets Indonesia to be among the top 10 countries with the largest economies by 2030. This is in line with the national aspirations contained in the Making Indonesia 4.0 roadmap, which will overhaul conventional industrial production lines in a more efficient and quality manner.
