President Jokowi Gives 2,850 Land Certificates in Jember

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jember - President of RI Joko Widodo handed over 2,850 land certificates to residents of Jember Regency and surrounding areas on Sunday (13/8/2017)

"This certificate is important because in all of Indonesia in the area that I have come there is always a land dispute, both between the community and the institution, with the government, with the company, and others, therefore this year we make the program throughout Indonesia must be submitted at least 5,000,000 certificates This year," said Jokowi in Building New Sari Utama Convention Hall in Kaliwates District Jember.

According to the President, if the citizens already hold the certificate, if there are other parties claim to own the land, can not anymore because there is evidence of land ownership.

The handover of 2,850 land certificates by President Jokowi was done symbolically to 12 recipients.

The Minister of ATR / Head of BPN Sofyan Djalil, Head of Staff Office of President of Teten Masduki, President of Johan Budi, and member of House of Representative Arief Wibowo, attended the handover of the land certificate.

Meanwhile, Minister of ATR / Head of BPN Sofyan Djalil explained that 2,850 certificates of land distributed came from eight districts / cities in East Java, among them Jember District as many as 1,100 recipients and Banyuwangi as many as 300 recipients.

Next, Probolinggo 400 recipients, Lumajang 250 recipients, Bondowoso 250 recipients, Pasuruan 200 recipients, Probolinggo 250 city receivers, and Situbondo regency of 150 recipients.
