Financial Commissioner First Travel Stipulated As Suspect

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Criminal Investigation Police assigned Finance Commissioner PT First Anugerah Karya Wisata (First Travel) Siti Nuraidah Hasibuan alias Kiki Hasibuan as suspect cases of alleged fraud and embezzlement of funds paying tens of thousands of prospective participants Umrah First Travel.

"Yes, have been arrested," said AKBP M. Rivai at the Office of Criminal Investigation, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), Jakarta, Friday (18/08/2017)

According to him, Kiki, who is the younger brother of Anniesa Desvitasari Hasibuan, is responsible for the fraud committed by Anniesa and her brother-in-law Andika.

In addition, some assets belonging to Andika and Anniesa are known to be purchased on behalf of Kiki.

"Many, there are homes, there are cars, like Fortuner seized on behalf of Kiki, it is still being traced," he said.

Kiki is named as a suspect after being examined in a status as a witness with his brother, Ivan, Wednesday (16/8).

In the case of alleged fraud and embezzlement of the payment of tens of thousands of candidates for umrah PT First Anugerah Karya Wisata or First Travel, the police have previously set two suspects, namely Andika Surachman (Director) and Anniesa Desvitasari (Director).

At least 70,000 prospective congregation members have paid Umrah's fee to First Travel however, as many as 35,000 members of Umrah pilgrims who can be dispatched.

Police estimate the losses suffered by members of the congregation on the case reached Rp550 billion. (Ant)
