INDUSTRY.co.id - Kuala Lumpur- The Indonesian government immediately moved quickly to address the issue of the Indonesian flag overturned on the special souvenir of the 2017 SEA Games opening and demanded Malaysia to express diplomatic apologies.

The lawsuit is a follow-up to the three ministers' meeting, the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs, Puan Maharani, Minister of Youth and Sports Imam Nahrawi, Minister of Justice and Human Rights Yasona Laoly and Chairman of KOI Erick Thohir, and delivered during watching the water polo match between Indonesia against the Philippines, At the Aquatic Center of Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Sunday (8/20/2017)

"We have reported the matter to the President because we are here (Malaysia) so we have a duty to follow up because this is a symbol of the country, so I want a diplomatic solution," said Puan Maharani.

The impact of the reverse flag is now widespread in the media. In fact, now also has been circulating apologies from the Malaysian side. It's just that in the bilingual letters it is not signed by the authorities.

Puan asked the Malaysians to take the right steps. This is because the letter circulated widely through social media that only stated the Secretariat of Kuala Lumpur 2017 and the Malaysian Administrative Courts (MASOC).

"I've seen the letter, but I'm sorry the letter has no official signature who's responsible, so we're still waiting for official channels," Puan said.

Meanwhile, Menpora Imam Nahrawi admitted to personally communicating with the Minister of Sports and the Malaysian Belia, and no problem. However, the problems that occur today are not private but state affairs.

"This issue must be resolved diplomatically and should be resolved immediately," he said.
