Meet the Minister of Industry, Global Daehan Boss Tells About his Business in the Manufacturing Industry

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Minister of Industry, Airlangga Hartarto received a visit from PT Daehan Global CEO Boo Hyung Lee at the Office of the Ministry of Industry, Jakarta.

"PT Daehan Global is one of the leading factories in Asia and in recent years the company has also experienced rapid growth," Airlangga said in Jakarta (8/31/2017).

Currently PT Daehan Global has 6 sewing plants with 152 lines, 1 washing factory and 1 embroidery factory in Indonesia and Vietnam which can cover about 670 thousand pcs of woven jackets per month, 1.5 million pcs woven pants per month, and 1 million pcs of hoodie knitting per month.

"Since starting in Bogor, Indonesia in 1996, Daehan Global has become one of the leading factories in Asia," he explained.

According to Airlangga, Daehan Global produces both woven and knit items which are very attractive to customers and continue to expand factories to meet customer's expectation

As is known, the national manufacturing industry is still one of the sectors that provide the largest contribution to national economic growth.

Previously, Airlangga said, the government through the Ministry of Industry is currently working to ensure the manufacturing sector can grow in accordance with predetermined targets.

"One important aspect to ensure sustainable growth in the manufacturing sector is the efficiency and productivity of industrial machinery to reduce the operational costs of each company," he concluded.
