INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) opened at 5,860 in the first trading session on Wednesday (13/09/2017), 12 points lower compared to the previous day's trading closing session at 5,872.

Until 9:46 AM JATS time, JCI was observed at position 5.875, up 0.1% or 3 points compared to the position at the close of trading yesterday. A total of 133 stocks rose in price, 356 shares fell, 110 stagnant shares and 244 shares have not been traded.

The total value of stock purchase transaction in BEI was recorded at Rp 1.16 trillion with trading volume of 1.79 billion units of shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors bought net shares worth Rp111 billion with a purchase volume of 18 million units of shares.

A total of seven out of 10 indexes of BEI are green. The index of agricultural sector experienced the highest increase, that is equal to 0,52% or 9,18 point to 1,789 position. Then followed by index of property sector and index of trade sector which each increase 0,27%.

LQ45 stocks that experienced price increases and became the top gainers were PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) whose price increased by 4.9% or Rp100 to Rp2,130 per unit, PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) , 9% or Rp35 to Rp1,925 per unit and shares of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) whose price was raised by 1.6% or Rp150 to Rp9,500 per unit.

Meanwhile, LQ45's top losers are PT Tambang Batu Bara Bukit Asam (PTBA), whose price shrank 2.9% or Rp350 to Rp11,825 per unit, PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) with price cuts 1 , 2% or Rp125 to Rp10,325 per unit and shares of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) whose price decreased by 1% or Rp40 to Rp3,790 per unit.
