This morning, the Composite Stock Price Index Opens at 6,577

INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (IDX) opened at 6,577 on Wednesday (14/02/2018), slightly lower than its yesterday's trading position at 6,578.

At 09.20 JATS time, JCI was monitored at 6,589 positions. JCI is moving in the range 6,577-6,599. There were 168 stocks experiencing price increases, 73 stocks down, 106 shares stagnant and 265 shares have not been transacted.

The total value of transactions across the BEI market reached Rp788.23 billion. It consists of transaction value in the Regular Market of Rp569.74 billion, in Negotiated Market worth Rp218.49 billion and in Pasar Tunai worth Rp447,500.

Total trading volume was recorded at 10.72 million lots of shares, resulting from 36,370 transactions. Foreign investors sold net shares worth Rp16.53 billion. However, they still recorded a net purchase volume of 32,827 lots of shares.

Eight out of nine indexes of BEI are green. Index of mining sector experienced the highest increase, that is 1.15% or 22,41 points to the position of 1,980. Then followed by index of infrastructure sector and index of miscellaneous industry sector which each rose 0,66% and 0,46%. (Abraham Sihombing)
