INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia Tbk, an aircraft maintenance company (MRO) in Indonesia, is getting closer to a public company, considering the initial public offering plan gets an effective statement from the Financial Services Authority.
"We are confident and optimistic that this is the best way to increase the value of the company and contribute more to Indonesia," GMF President Director Iwan Joeniarto said in a written statement received by Redasi in Jakarta on Friday. (9/29/2017)
The total shares offered by GMF in this initial public offering (IPO) are 2,823,351,100 shares which are entirely new shares or as much as 10 percent of the total issued and paid up capital of GMF after the IPO.
Meanwhile, the total number of shares offered in the original plan is to a maximum of 10,890,068,700 shares which are entirely new shares, equivalent to 30 percent of the total issued and paid up capital of the company after the IPO, with a composition of 20 percent for public and 10 percent for strategic investors.
It is said, taking into account the interest of potential investors both public and strategic investors during the book-building period, and to optimize the value of the company, the GMF decided to release shares with a composition of 10 percent for the public at the time of the IPO and 20 percent for strategic investors post-IPO expected can support GMF's vision of being "Top 10 MRO in The World".
The public offering period will take place on October 2, 3, and 4, 2017, by opening an outlet at the office of the Datindo Entrycom Securities Administration Bureau located on Jl. Hayam Wuruk No. 28 floor 2 Central Jakarta.
