INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Zurich Insurance Indonesia (Zurich Indonesia) launched four digital insurance services to increase people's access to insurance services more easily and quickly.

PT Zurich Insurance Indonesia President Director Philippe Danielski said digitalization has changed the way people interact, access information and transact.

For the insurance industry, digitization not only changes the company's strategy in running its business but also on customers' expectations of access to services.

"Innovation, speed, convenience, accessibility and information transparency have become a necessity, and prospective customers tend to prefer to seek information independently before deciding to buy a product, so it is important for industry players to be able to facilitate this need," Danielski said in an official statement. Aware of the existing digital trend, Zurich Indonesia since last year has focused on digital transformation. The commitment is reflected through the four digital platforms that have been presented.

Firstly, Zurich Insurance Platform (ZIP), a special application for Zurich Indonesia agent to facilitate the agent in providing service offers of motor vehicle insurance products to prospective customers.

Second, Zurich Click (Z-Click), a platform for purchasing travels insurance online. Thirdly, Zurich online portal eClaim allows customers to claim insurance in one click. Fourthly, Z-Alert is a disaster response application that provides early warning about potential risks and disasters around.

"With these four digital platforms, customers can access Zurich Indonesia's insurance services more easily from computers or smartphones, from product purchases, claims, to information about potential risks that exist around ZIP, as a specialized application for agents also makes it easier customers to obtain information on vehicle protection, " said Chief Operating Officer of PT Zurich Insurance Indonesia Dian Wibowo.

ZIP is the most recently launched digital initiative. If other digital platforms make it easier for customers to access insurance services, ZIP is intended exclusively for agents. Where, through this application the agent is easier to offer vehicle insurance products to prospective customers. The submission process of motor vehicle insurance quotes may be made at any time, even on holidays.

"Digital channels have not been maximally utilized in the insurance industry, and it is undeniable that digital is one of the strategic channels that can provide better service to the community if it is used properly." Therefore, Zurich Indonesia continues to provide a truly relevant digital experience with their needs," said Dian.
