INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) opened to 6.386 points, up 4 points or 0.06% in trading on Tuesday (16/01/2018). At 9:20 am JATS time, the JCI gained 6.398 points, up 16 points or 0.26% compared to the previous day's trading closing position at 6,382 points.
JCI gains early in the first session of trading this morning was supported by 155 stock price increases. Nevertheless, there were 65 stocks that experienced price declines, 122 shares stagnant and 269 shares have not been transacted.
Total transaction value in all BEI market segments was recorded at Rp972.21 billion. It consists of transaction value in the regular market of Rp728.02 billion, negotiating market of Rp241.86 billion and cash market of Rp2.32 billion.
Total trading volume in these three markets was recorded at 18.01 million units of shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors sold net share of 606,292 units of shares worth a total of Rp89.57 billion.
LQ45 stocks that experienced price increases and became top gainers were BRPT whose price rose by 2.27% or Rp50 to Rp2,250 per unit, EXCL price was raised 2.20% or Rp70 to Rp3.250 per unit and KLBF price increased by 2.08% or Rp35 to Rp1,715 per unit.
Meanwhile, LQ45 stocks that became top losers this morning were BBTN whose price was eroded by 0.27% or Rp10 to Rp3,630 per unit, ICBP fell 0.35% or Rp5 to Rp1,420 per unit and JSMR shrank 0.4% or Rp25 to Rp6,225 per unit. (Abraham Sihombing)
