Review Johar Market, Mr. Hasan Wants Prices in Traditional Markets Stay Stable

INDUSTRY.co.id - Karawang - Candidate West Java (Cagub) Tb. Hasanuddin (Kang Hasan) wants the price of products in traditional markets to remain stable and without harming any parties either sellers or buyers.
According to him, the market as a place of community economic should be made as comfortable as possible and people's purchasing power continues to increase.
"Let the traditional markets develop well, comfortable and the price is under control," he said when doing blusukan to Pasar Johar, Kabupaten Karawang. Tuesday (23/1/2018).
Kang Hasan added, the products circulating in the market must also prioritize the potential of the region and not merely import. So it can benefit farmers.
"The government has to limit the modern market, and the existing ones, must involve all the potential in society such as buying vegetables from the surrounding farmers, if the material is in West Java, so do not import it," explained Kang Hasan.
Price of Rice
In addition, Kang Hasan also had time to review the price of rice in the market which he said should be able to prosper the farmers and his price is not burdensome to the community.
"Rice from farmers in West Java should be cultivated, then Bulog should sell rice cheaper than outside" he explained.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Johar Market Traders Association, Umar Pringga said that with the increasing number of modern markets and impromptu markets around the market Johar also affect the purchasing power of people in Johar Market and resulted in a decline in turnover of traders. He hopes that good government cooperation between the Regency and the province should be improved in the development of traditional markets so that no party will be harmed.
"The government must combine with traders, so buyers can be comfortable and safe" he said.
