INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - President Joko Widodo said that he has not received any proposal from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Committee that recommends the establishment of the Supervisory Board of KPK.

"(The proposal) has not entered me yet, if it has been entered into me, then I think I will enter it first," said President Joko Widodo after 68th Dies Natalis Universitas Indonesia in Depok, West Java, Friday (2 / 2/2018)

Previously, members of the House of Representatives' Rights Committee Special Committee from PDI-Perjuangan Masinton Pasaribu said the temporary draft made by the Pansus, one of them recommended the establishment of the Supervisory Board of KPK, in order to avoid irregularities and arbitrariness in carrying out its duties.

"In order for KPK to carry out daily tasks, there is no irregularities and arbitrariness, it is necessary to establish a Supervisory Board," Masinton said in Jakarta on Thursday (1/2/2018).

He said the Dewas KPK does not interfere with KPK's investigation and prosecution process, but to ensure the implementation of KPK's duties in accordance with the legal corridor.

Masinton said Dewas KPK members were proposed from external KPKs such as academics and elements of society .. (Ant)
