Trial of First Travel Case Prepares 96 Witnesses

INDUSTRY.co.id - Depok - Depok District Court, West Java, continued the trial of three defendants First Travel case with the agenda of reading the defendant's note or objection by preparing 96 witnesses.

"We gave the defense attorney the opportunity to read the exception for his reasons," said Depok District Court spokesman Teguh Arifiano when met in his office before the trial of First Travel case in Depok on Monday (26/2/2018).

He hopes that in this follow-up hearing attorney can be present so that it can read out an exception.

"Even if not present we prepare from Posbakum (Pos legal aid) so as not to eliminate the rights of defendants," he said.

Teguh said that the First Travel case trial will run every two weeks because the trial will last five months.

Among these witnesses are Syahrini artists, as well as from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, partners from First Travel and others.

Previously the Public Prosecutor (Prosecutor) at the hearing last week (Monday, 19/2/2018) committed three charges against three defendants in the First Travel case in the inaugural session.

The three indictments are Article 378 KUHP, 372 KUHP jo 55 paragraph 1 and jo 64, and Article 3 of Money Laundering Criminal Act (TPPU).

Three defendants, First Director of First Travel Andika Surachman, First Travel Director Anniesa Hasibuan and Finance Director First Travel Siti Nuraidah Hasibuan aka Kiki. The prosecutor's team consists of German Heri, Lumunba Tambunan, and Endang.

While from Kejari Depok, Iya Zahra Lenggogeni, Tri Sumarni and Ade Ramadhan.

First Travel victims amounted to 63,310 pilgrims, with total losses reaching Rp905.333.000.000, -.
